Dear friends,
These days, from November 24 to December 1, an annual mission conference is being held in the local church Community of the Good Shepherd in the city of Rivne. This time on the topic “Pass it on to the Faithful” (2 Timothy 2:2)
We are grateful for your prayers for our missionaries!
«And the things which thou hast heard of me by many witnesses,
the same commend to faithful men, who shall be fit to teach others also».
2 Tim. 2:2
Serving the Uighurs and Afghans
Please pray for our brother B. God blesses his ministry to Uighurs, Turkmen, Afghan Uzbeks, and Turks. Although constant meetings with new people, frequent trips, long-term communication, and an almost continuous flow of guests, who are warmly hosted by his wife, certainly tire the missionaries out, this tiredness is for the sake of serving the Lord. The fruit of this labor makes them and us happy. Now they want us to pray for their opportunity to get the necessary documents for further legal residence in the “country of the four seas.”
Service in Central Asia
Our dear brother T. celebrated his first 70th birthday and moved to serve in the places where his teenage years were spent. Tahir has already found housing and received a residence permit in Central Asia. There he found both disciples and “people of peace.” Pray for brother T.’s health and the safe flight of his wife to him as he left first to prepare a place to live. All their children (a son and four daughters) are old enough to live independently.
Serving the Arabs in France
Pray for our dear brother Youness, his wife Maria, and four children. Now their family lives in France, where they have found so much work for their eager missionary hearts and of course, it takes a lot of strength to deal with. They serve both Arabic-speaking migrants and refugees from Ukraine, as well as those migrants from Muslim countries who are learning French.
Persian Ministry
Our brother Mani also needs your fervent prayers for his native Iranian people who are groaning and suffering under the burden of a criminal government. Mani goes to great lengths to reach as many as possible through the means of communication. Since the leaders in his homeland are imprisoned, God develops His church through the ministry of the sisters. There is also underground printing and distribution of Christian literature. Please pray for strength and financial support for this ministry because the persecuted Church of Iran and the Christian Persian communities in the Diaspora are very poor and often suffer from severe restrictions when abroad. It is difficult for them to solve such issues as officiating marriages or receiving qualified medical care. Sometimes they end up in refugee camps, which are a little different from prison. Also, several sisters in Christ, who were leaders of home groups and involved in evangelism, are some of whom we know personally, our brothers baptized them in Armenia, and are going through some lawsuits in court.
Arab Ministry in Ukraine
Please pray for our brother Rafi. He diligently prepares video sermons in Arabic, and there is a wide circle of people in the Middle East who listen to them regularly. In Ukraine, Rafi started the club of Arab culture “Kavnik,” and also continues to serve as a pastor in the Arab Christian community. Unfortunately, because his city, the heart of our country, is regularly shelled, brother Rafi cannot sleep normally at night, and this has a negative effect on his health.
Service in Armenia
Thank you, friends, for praying for the development of the ministry in Armenia. Now the role of our coordinator is assigned to brother Sevak, who works in Yerevan together with his wife Nina, and also visits the surrounding villages. Brothers Araik and Karo serve Assyrians and Kurds, as well as war victims and refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh. The ministry of our brother J., the pastor of the first Kurdish Christian church Dawn in Armenia, is especially focused on evangelizing the Yazidi Kurds. His wife S. and daughters help him in everything because the main emphasis of the ministry is on working with children. Also, our Armenian brothers willingly help in serving the people of neighboring Persia.
In conclusion, there is extremely comforting news from brother Yaroslav, who is undergoing experimental treatment in the USA. Although after many sessions of chemotherapy, he does not feel very well, but, according to the doctors, this is a temporary phenomenon, and the main thing is that all tumor markers are negative! Another year and a half at the medical institute, and in 2026, he will be able to return to his ministry in Italy. Please pray that the Lord will bless our brother with a speedy recovery.
