In the whole rhythm of our floor hockey life, the most significant event of March was the 6th anniversary since the ministry establishment and the beginning of the existence of the Christian floor hockey club “SKY”.
On the one hand, it seems that the first training sessions, at which we did not even have the proper equipment, were just started and conducted. On the other hand, it is as if this ministry has been with us all our lives. After all, so much has already been done, so much time has been spent with so many people, and so many people have heard the Gospel in these six years… It’s all even difficult to count. And it is not our business, but our business is to continue to share the gospel – the message of salvation with children, adolescents, and youth, and to unite those whom God has already brought to Himself through this ministry.
Therefore, we gathered again with the whole club for our joint birthday, for the first time in 2 years, because last year, we could not do it due to strict quarantine. We, again, had a great time together, participated in various competitions, games, and also ate, drank tea along with an essential attribute of a birthday party – a cake. We talked about what a successful team is like and how to make a team like that… And we saw in the Word of God that such a team is possible when the players support each other, pray for each other, and listen to the coach. And that Jesus Christ is our best support, Who is always near and Who gave His life for us so that we could live so He will never reject us when we turn to Him.
For six years, God has provided everything for this ministry to survive and by His grace we keep bearing fruit through Him and to His glory. We are thankful to our great God for this!
We ask you to continue praying for the team of ministers who are involved in carrying out a great task through a tool like floor hockey. Pray for their spiritual growth, knowledge of God and dedication to Him. Also, pray for being born from above of the children from the club who know the Gospel well, but it has not yet come alive for them. And also pray for the expansion of this ministry, perhaps in another school in the city, so that even more children would hear the saving message about our Lord Jesus Christ.
