With spring came a large number of competitions and various events in our Christian Floorball Club SKY.
At the beginning of spring, a team of teenagers (under 16 years old) took part in the third round of the championship of Ukraine in the city of Zdolbuniv, near Rivne. What made it special for us was that our club organized this tour; it was the first time we had such an experience. As the competition, this tour was the last for us in this championship of Ukraine, however, we are satisfied that many parents came over to the competition to watch their children play and we had the opportunity to continue building relationships with them.
Then we all celebrated the 9th anniversary of our floorball club together. As always, we had a good time accompanied by games, contests, chatting over tea and cookies, and, of course, sharing the gospel.
Later, we had two more rounds in the Edge Christian League, which took place in Lutsk. We played many games there, we had both wins and losses. The second round for the category of children under 15 was especially successful, in which both our teams managed to reach the playoffs, although before this tour we did not have a lot of chances for this, so we could praise God together for that.
One more goal for the spring that we had in mind was to recruit new children on the teams in the schools where we practice. Therefore, we held various sports competitions in schools between classes and then invited them to our practices. After all, we want more children to come to training, where they can hear the Good News about salvation and the Only Savior Who is able to do that.
We thank God for the time we spent together and the children He gives us in our lives and relationships with them. We thank everyone who prays for this ministry and ask you to continue praying because we’re so weak without God and we need your prayers very much. We ask you to pray for the team of ministers, for their spiritual and quantitative growth. Also pray for teenagers, in whom good spiritual processes are visible, for their reconciliation with God, and for the repentance of children who already know the Good News. We ask you to pray for the recruitment of new children so that they can come to know Jesus Christ and receive eternal life.
