The Svitoglyad’s fifth academic year has reached the finish line!

The schoolyard was filled with festive noise, laughter, and flowers. A slight sadness and a joyful anticipation of the summer break were felt in the school’s atmosphere.

The school principal, Mrs. Iryna Kurchenko, touchingly congratulated all those present, summing up the year’s results and talking about the achievements of the students and the team of teachers. The teachers recalled bright moments of Svitoglyad’s school life, and the students entertained the audience with a wonderful artistic program: songs, tuning forks, and guitar.

Director’s Test Named After Grigory Skovoroda

Before the last bell, in Svitoglyad, there was the director’s test named after Grigory Skovoroda. Its purpose was to show the level of students’ performance to provide them with a personal development trajectory in the future. In this way, the teaching staff of the school monitors the learning process of each child.

The results show that 14% of our students study at a high level. 55% of students are at a sufficient level and 31% are at an average level. At the initial level – 0%.

This testifies to the high level of achievements of our students and the fruitful work of our teachers.

Svitoglyad Camp

After the school learning was done, Svitoglyad went to the camp!

The children visited Lutsk: they went on an excursion to the Lubart Castle and the local zoo.

They visited the Raccoon Manor, where they played with raccoons, fed ostriches, and rode a pony.

They visited the movie theater, played a quest, and ate delicious pizza.

Children have a lot of unforgettable memories. They experienced tons of positive emotions. So, the camp was a success!

Won Second Place in the Sky Games

“We will be in blue for the sake of children with autism” – this is the desire of the Svitoglyad school on World Autism Awareness Day.

Our school was the only one in Ukraine that responded to the Institute for Child Development Foundation initiative in Gdansk, which was to hold a sports event with special kids. This year, 1,900 Polish schools and 8 schools from abroad, that study the Polish language, took part in this event.

49 schools received awards for the quality and level of the sports event. RCS Svitoglyad took second place and was awarded with diplomas and a cash prize of 2,000 zlotys! The funds will be used to purchase educational literature for our students.

We praise God and thank you that our hearts are open to children who need our love and care, acceptance and recognition!

Let’s do good while there is time!

We teach children to accept and spend their time with “special” friends!
