The pastor of the Arab Church in Kyiv, Rafi Issa, with his wife, Tatyana, and two daughters remain in Ukraine and continue to serve the members of their community and the people around them.
Brother Rafi’s ministry is somewhat multilateral. First of all, this is a personal preaching of the gospel, which the Lord has determined for the salvation of all peoples: Arabs and Slavs, Muslims and Christians, atheists and Buddhists – all need the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Second, it is evangelism through a YouTube channel in Arabic, thanks to which the message of salvation reaches many people who speak Arabic. And these are residents of almost 40 countries. There are listeners from Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Morocco, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Djibouti, etc.
And this year, the Lord helped the Arab church to start the Christian Eastern Cultural Center Dalla (Coffee Shop). They started teaching people various Eastern languages, such as Arabic and Crimean Tatar (Turkish and Persian are also planned), and familiarizing them with Eastern culture. In October, together with the ICA church, they organized an international dinner, where they were introduced to the dishes of national cuisine – Syrian and Turkish. Students from the cultural center were invited to lunch. Such events help to build friendly relationships with people and share the Word of God with them.
