A Good Tradition – Reading Clubs

One of our school’s good traditions is reading clubs. Here, children not only read but also live the pages of their favorite books, imagining themselves as heroes of exciting stories. They also try their hand at being authors, creating their own literary masterpieces.

Patriotism as an Integral Part of Learning

One of the bright events of spring was the Day of Vyshyvanka – the Ukrainian Embroidered Shirt Day. The students were all festively dressed up, and the school fluttered in yellow and blue colors. We educate children in a deep understanding of the value of the culture and heritage of our people, because our desire is for every student to know and honor their roots.

Biblical Integration into the Educational Process

We believe that knowledge carries not only informational, but also spiritual significance. In each lesson, we try to show how God’s principles permeate all spheres of life: in natural science, we admire the Creator in His creation, in mathematics, we see His order and harmony, in languages , we learn to communicate with love and wisdom. Even creative tasks have a deep meaning: children wrote letters to biblical heroes, imagining what David or Mary would say today. This approach not only develops intellect but also forms character, inspires to think deeper, live honestly, and serve others with joy.

Heavenly Games: Love in Action

“We will be in blue – for children with autism!” – this was the slogan of the international event “Niebieskie Igrzyska 2025”

The goal of these competitions is to support children with special needs, as well as to instill in students love and acceptance for everyone, regardless of their differences.

A special moment of the holiday was the meeting with our friends, who visited us for the second time.

The day before, the school lessons were dedicated to understanding the specifics of autism. We are glad that Svitoglyad is the only school in Ukraine that is organizing this event for the second time.

Meetings with Parents: We’re Stronger Together

Corporate prayers, breakfasts for mothers, and sports competitions are all part of our interaction with parents. After all, education is a joint endeavor. We are building a community where children, parents, and teachers are one team. Such meetings help to better understand each other’s needs, develop trust, and support. We believe that strength is born in unity: the strength of prayer, love, wise decisions, and real change. Together, we create a space where a child can not only gain knowledge, but also experience a change in heart — in safety, acceptance, and faith in the best.

The Future is Near

Despite all the challenges, we do not stop. The second floor is currently under construction so that even more children can get a quality education in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and God’s presence.

And of course, we are already packing our bags for our long-awaited summer camp — “Svitoglyad Lives out of a Suitcase.” Ahead of us are adventures, discoveries, travels, and unforgettable time with friends.
