By God’s grace, the ministry among the Kurdish-Yezidi people in Armenia continues! Brother J., his family, and Armenian Christians from Yerevan held a children’s camp in the Yezidi village of Sh. Every year, this camp gathers children from low-income families from surrounding villages to share the Gospel with them and testify to God’s love and care for them. All members of our minister’s family were involved in the ministry at the camp: the eldest daughter led Bible lessons, his wife taught needlework, the son was responsible for sports, and the youngest daughter participated in worship. The youth and brothers from the church actively helped.

The camp was held under the program “The Greatest Journey.” The children got acquainted with the life of Jesus in Bible lessons, then there was a discussion in groups, sports games, creative activities, snacks, etc. Children from large and single-parent families received gifts with the necessary things. The team plans to continue communicating with the children through post-camp meetings. Although most villages are open to Christians, the situation is more difficult in the village of R.: children there were forbidden to visit the camp and communicate with believers. We ask you to pray for these children and the elders of the village, and also that the Lord blesses and the fruit of the camp ministry becomes new saved souls!
Our Armenian collaborators Karo and Araik conducted evangelistic excursions for teenagers and a church trip to Lake Sevan, during which they shared the Word of God and had good communication with both Christians and non-believers who joined these informal events.

It is now the harvest season in Armenia, and members of the village churches are ready to serve their acquaintances and neighbors to show a good example of Christ’s love. Their prayer needs: discipleship development, preparation for baptism, and continuation of children’s and youth ministries.
