Summer has begun, which means that there will be many more trips, camps, and meetings than usual. We held our first summer children’s football camp in early June together with a Christian football club from Radyvyliv. My group of 30 children aged 9–11 spent 3 wonderful days there. We played football, played games, swam, met, made friends, researched, and studied the Word of God. This trip had a very positive impact on team relationships, and also helped establish cooperation with other teams in our region.

In the Nadiya club, we have two adult teams, one of which has been playing at the high level of the city championship for a long time, and the other is just starting its journey. We sincerely invite everyone who wants to join us. This month we won our first game — and these are incredible emotions. God teaches us a lot through defeats, and here he comforted us with a victory.

There was a traditional children’s playground on the territory of our Community of the Good Shepherd Church, where I had the opportunity to serve for several days to children who come to us from all over. Some of them are our team members, many are new. The atmosphere is always special, the team of leaders is especially friendly and dedicated.

Two children’s groups participated in a football tournament. This is a pretty good level, where the best teams in our city gather. We, the only Christian club in the city, learn to point to the One in Whom we believe through our game and behavior. We pray before and after games, constantly remind children of the important principles of Christian behavior and learn to show Christ to others. God gave us the opportunity to win 3rd place and win valuable medals, for some they are the first.

Prayer needs:
– for the children and their parents, that the Lord’s mercy may be with them;
– for the construction of a football complex;
– for new mature and dedicated leaders in our team for ministry through sports.
