Restart Your Heart
Praise the Lord! The spiritual and instructive (homiletic) youth conference has taken place. The Lord has blessed this conference with abundance of the Word. It was a great pleasure to see 250 young people there, who were very interested to hear deep and serious sermons. We do believe that all receive a lot for their hearts.
Christmas holidays in the south
A great thankfulness to the Lord for Christmas program and presents, which our youth team was able to give to the children whose parents are not Christians, and to the families with disabled children in the south of Ukraine.
A Christian sports (floorball) camp “Choice”
Praise the Lord for the ministry of evangelism through sports. Every day in the camp the Word of God was heard everywhere. Five children decided to invite the Lord into their lives. The children hear a lot about the Lord and now it is their choice what to do and where to go. Please, pray for their hearts!
There is the way out!
From the 9-th to 14-th of January the missionary church from Zdolbunov “The Source of Life” (The Spring of Life) organized a winter Evangelical camp “The way out” 2017. The topic of the camp was “Thirst”. There were 90 young people (60% were unbelievers)? During five days they studied the Bible. It was a great blessing, when several young people came to the Lord and decided to visit our groups and study the Bible.
The Gospel for young souls
We are thankful to the Lord that we had the opportunity to make a seminar camp in Zakarpatie for orphans-graduates of boarding schools from Rovno, and for the children from the war zone of Donetsk in January 9-16. The most important achievement of the camp is the beginning of the reading the Bible with the children, as it is not easy to find a place where you may learn the word of God, and there is there is a considerable resistance to the Gospel. Please, pray for the children from Avdeevka, who were in the camp.
Distribution of the journal
Our worker visited a group of Sunday school leaders “The club of the Future” from Rivne region. We started to collaborate with leaders of children’s ministry in Rovno. In the 29-th of January we held a presentation of the magazine “Word to a Teacher” for the members of Baptist churches.
A ministry for the orphans
Our friends from America and Valentina Bondarchuck visited boarding school in Mizoch, Tuchin, Verba, we gave them warm things which were knitted by the sisters from America. We are so much thankful to the Lord for His love and care. We are praying for graduates of boarding school in Tuchin. The school year is over soon, and the children need to decide where to continue their study, where to live.
XXII missionary conference
We held a conference in Rovno by the end of January. The motto of the conference was “To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand” – Romans 15:21. It took place in the missionary church “Community of the Good Shepherd” in Rovno. There were more than 100 guests there. They were missionaries from East and Central Asia, Middle East, Western and Eastern Europe, America, Oceania, Japan, Caucasus, Yakutia and Primorsky Krai. We heard testimonies about God’s amazing work and grace which leads to salvation of representatives of different people and nations. How great the name of the Lord is in all the earth! It was a real joy for us that 10 Ukrainian churches took part in this conference.
