Greetings to you dear brothers and sisters!
This month the Lord helped us to start Sunday school for preschool-age kids.
We decided to do special classes for them before the main service. It usually starts forty minutes earlier, so that we could finish by 11.00. Last Sunday there were seven kids. There is a muslim family that have been living in Poland for some time. Their children speak Polish very well. The children also came to Sunday school the first time. They are very active and were interested in what we said to them at the lesson. Most of them were really surprised as they learned that honey is not the sweetest thing in the world (Psalm 18:11). It’s wonderful that God gave us His Living Word! After the lesson the whole church prayed for the kids and for the ministry among them. Then the kids had small gifts – it was a surprise for them! Pray that God sent His workers and also gave us more kids to work with!
There’s one more thing I’d like to share with you – it’s another joyful event that we have been praying for. Yesterday God helped us to organize the first evening service in Polish. I hope these meetings will be regular – once a week. So we rented an extra premises not only for this reason, but also for other events. Our church members, other believers and even non-believers came after work to support us and participate in the service.
Each of us keeps in touch with Polish friends. We hope we will meet more and more people. Now our Polish friends have an opportunity to come and listen the Word of God in their native tongue. After the service we usually have tea, so that we could get closer with these people. We believe the Good News will be spread out among the locals. I think we are all here for some purpose. I’d even say that we are here not just to make more money, but also to accomplish God’s work.
Please, pray for the ministry, for the conference for preachers in November and for the seminar “Attributes of God”. We believe these events will be effective, help us to build our relationship and encourage us in faith!
Blessings to you dear friends!
With prayers and love,
your brother Sasha Ilyin
