We thank the Lord for the session we’ve just had in Rivne Bible College “Word of Grace.”
At this difficult time for the country and the Church the interest in biblical education is not quenched, and, thank God, we can continue teaching our students. It’s been only four months since our new group of students has passed a session “Spiritual Formation”, and here they are again at their desks.
In February 2015 the subject of “Principles of work with the Scriptures” was taught by pastor from Mariupol – Stanislav Kolpakov. For Stanislav it is the first experience of teaching in our college, and he coped with it admirably. It should be noted, however, that the session was not easy, not only because of the large volume of complex material, but also because many students got ill during the session and had to miss a few days of study, then they had to make up for the lost time. Nevertheless, the key principles of working with the text of Scripture, the rules of hermeneutics, acquaintance with genres represented in Bible – all these our students were able to learn and hopefully assimilate.
Thank everyone who prayerfully and financially supported us, who served and continues to serve in the educational sphere of our mission.
The next session is scheduled from 20 to 29 May,
subject: “Missiology”
Lecturer: missionary from Japan Masato Funakoshi.
We invite everyone to join the process of learning in Rivne Bible College “Word of Grace.” For more information, please contact: rbkrovno@gmail.com
