The brothers and sisters from the churches in Kamianske continue to serve refugees from the combat areas. We are honored to serve, together with the church of our Association House of Agape, and to participate in saving lives, as well as in the preaching of salvation and eternal life in Jesus Christ.

Every day from Monday to Friday, many displaced people, who are called “guests” here, come to the property of the church. Of course, first of all, they come to receive humanitarian aid: food, clothes, shoes, and basic necessities. Some need hygiene products, others need bed linen, mattresses, and kitchenware.

However, entering into an atmosphere of kindness and hospitality, people take their time, sharing their difficulties and pain with believers, and thus listening to the Gospel.

All the guests have already told each other that a mandatory condition for receiving help is to have a cup of tea with the “priest,” that’s what they call a pastor or a brother who preaches God’s Word and prays with people. Everyone can ask questions and share their opinion here. Anyone can also receive a Bible, and Christian literature for children and adults as a gift. Some people come back to listen to the preacher again, some bring friends with them. These are mostly refugees who want to settle in Kamianske. There is also an active ministry for those who are heading to the western part of Ukraine from the war zone.

Thanks to this ministry, since the beginning of the war, a small church team of 14 people has been able to help and serve 2,050 people.

Of those who stayed in Kamianske for a longer time, eight people began to regularly attend services and one person is preparing for baptism. Thank God for that!
