A school camp based at the Klevan specialized school took place on July 12-16, 2022. It included kids from Rivne region as well as children from the families that had to resettle from Donetsk and Luhansk regions and who temporarily found a shelter at the school dormitory. For many kids it has been the first camp ever!

It was organized and held by Workers of the Christian mission Hope to People Ruslana Kovalchuk and Arkadiy Slyoza along with volunteers from the Community of Good Shepherd church, Rivne, workers of the Klevan specialized school, and kids’ parents.

The camp program theme was What is your Path? It included Bible lessons on the book of Jonah, crafts, music, singing, sport games, soccer, floorball, fitness, and a lot of other things.

The highlight of the camp was a trip to Ostroh to the museum castle and to the National University Ostroh Academy. 35 kids and 22 adults participated in the trip. The guests of Rivne region were grateful for unforgettable memories of this interesting and informative excursion.

In spite of all tragic circumstances, children were happy to meet new friends, to learn a lot of new exciting things.

Every day all turned to God in prayer thanking for the camp and everything good, asking for protection for our people, for victory over occupiers, and peace for Ukraine.
