During the winter months, the Lord gave our ministers in Armenia the opportunity to continue preaching Good News about Him! At the end of 2022, they gathered together in Yerevan to analyze service and plan where and how to move in the next year.

The period of Christmas and New Year holidays is very favorable for preaching the gospel because, at that time, everyone is happy to receive guests at home. Our brothers and sisters were able to visit many families with whom they shared the Word of God and prayed together. Some of these families suffered because of the war going on in Armenia: someone lost family and friends, and someone was injured and is still being treated. Their hearts are especially in need of the Gospel. Our minister visited one family where the husband died, and the mother and children remained. He asked the children how they celebrated the New Year, and they answered that they cried because they missed their father, who would not return. Please pray that the Lord comforts this family and the many others affected.

Nagorno-Karabakh is under blockade; people cannot enter or leave there. There is a lack of products and medicine, and it is very difficult to live. Our brothers and sisters are there, and they are holding on to the Lord and trusting in Him. Remember them in your prayers.

Despite all the troubles, the Lord gave an opportunity during the Christmas celebration to once again testify that there is hope, and it can be found in Jesus Christ. In the village of Dekhtsut, a children’s Christmas party was held, at the end of which the children were given gifts. We organized and showed the movie called “The Birth of Jesus.” After which, there was an opportunity to discuss it with people.

In the village of Sh., a Christmas celebration was organized for Kurdish Yezidi children. Many children showed up, and together we sang, played, and listened about Christmas. In the end, everyone received gifts.

In the churches where our missionaries serve, meetings and home groups are held regularly. Glory to God that everyone understands the importance of home groups and wants to gather to study the Word of God more deeply. During such meetings, people ask questions that concern them and get answers. In the end, everyone prays together for personal needs, for peace in Armenia and Ukraine, and for the Gospel to reach many more hearts.
