Our brothers and sisters faithfully and sincerely serve in Armenia, preaching the gospel to those who have not yet heard, and strengthening those who are still not strong enough in faith.

In the summer, in the villages of Kaghtsrashen, Deghdzut, and other places, our brothers and teams held outreach camps for Armenian and Yazidi Kurdish children. It was a good opportunity to share the Word of God not only with children but also with adults who brought their children and stayed to take a look at and listen. At the end of the camps, they asked many deep questions. Unfortunately, the lives of many children are difficult. In one camp, two little brothers were being raised by a grandmother; the father died in the war, and the mother abandoned the children. Pray for the ministry to children and adults who heard the gospel in the camps. The ministers visit them regularly.

In the summer, the Lord blessed the ministers to go up into the mountains to the Yazidi Kurds who graze cattle there. They had to drive more than 400 km to talk with the families for at least a few hours. When the brothers were there last year, an unbelieving Yazidi woman came over to them and asked them to pray that God would give her a grandson. This year she came back and witnessed that the Lord answered this prayer. It was a wonderful opportunity to once again share the gospel and testify to the living and almighty God!

Also in the summer, so-called church excursions were organized where the church members invited their non-believing friends. After walking around the sights, they had a halt in a cool place, gathered in small groups, and spent a wonderful time communicating and studying the Scriptures.

During the joint trip to Lake Sevan, they also had a good time of fellowship and studying the Word. The Lord touched the hearts of two people and they decided to surrender to Christ.

Assyrians live in one of the villages where brother Karapet serves, so our brother preaches the Good News to these people as well. In general, about 8,000 of them live in Armenia. The Lord opens their hearts to the gospel and continues His work in all nations. Please pray for ministers that they may be light and salt in those nations where the Lord will lead them.

Baptisms took place in churches where our brothers serve Armenians, Kurds, and Assyrians. This is always a great joy and encouragement to God’s people.

In September, it was very noisy near the border of Armenia again, many people died and many were injured in heavy fighting. Now the church is taking care of those who suffered. A lot of families were given food packages and had the opportunity to hear about the Savior.

We ask you to continue to pray for this country so that the Lord will overcome evil and unbelief in the hearts of people, and grant them repentance and salvation.

The brothers are eager to expand their ministry, so they want to buy or rent a facility in the city of Vanadzor, where they serve the poor who live in social dormitories, gather regularly, and hold worship services and classes with children.

In October, the third enrollment to the School of Biblical Preaching took place. Our brother Sevak helped translate the lectures. In Armenia, there is a great need for ministers who grow spiritually in the understanding of the Word and faithfully teach their churches.
