What is Christmas for you? As for me, it’s a bright and the most favorite holiday, yet it is a great opportunity to tell children and adults the Gospel. Also on Christmas Day people make presents to each other, and especially children are waiting for them. This year we opened the opportunity to tell Crimean Tatars children the Christmas story. You have heard, perhaps, that they are Muslims and do not believe in Jesus, but despite this, they still love holidays. So we had the idea to make a “New Year” holiday for them on January 6, and I think that we’ll be able to make this holiday unforgettable. We expect about 100 children to come, who will be able to hear the Gospel and learn the true meaning of Christmas. Many of these children, who will come to the holiday, are from dysfunctional families and they especially need someone to take care of them.
If you watch News, you know that in Crimea already “walk” Russian rubles, and there is no longer import the majority of Ukrainian products, in particular candies. Now there are mainly Russian brand of chocolates that are much more expensive than the Ukrainian. Therefore, the local team did not have enough means to provide gifts for all children who are going to be invited to the feast. But I think that we will be able to assist them in resolving this issue. The approximate price of a single gift is 3 USD, and I invite you to join up and give joy to children. Maybe this year there will be one less decoration on your Christmas tree, but believe me, the joy in your heart will be a lot more, because there in Crimea children will feel a special love of Jesus to them this Christmas. Perhaps Jesus is not born in their hearts yet, but through your prayers and with your help He will be born in the hearts of these children this Christmas.
Let us present a holiday to children!
