In recent months, our ministers in Armenia showed a lot of sympathy for the fathers who have lost their sons and experience severe pain in their hearts, for widows, brothers and sisters who have lost loved ones in the military conflict. It is especially difficult for people whose loved ones are missing or whose remains have been identified as a result of DNA testing. Their minds refuse to accept the loss of their relatives who could not even say goodbye to them. By grace, the Lord has given peace to the hearts of some of the people to whom our ministers preach the gospel.
Ministry to the Kurdish-Yazidi people is developed successfully. In the mountain settlement, where people gather in the trailer, the ministry to children and adults is being performed. The very good news is that the ministers have managed to overcome a long-standing problem. In Yazidi culture, it is not customary for men and women to be present in corporate worship. But recently, six men who turned to Christ and were baptized began to come to the services with their unbelieving wives. Please pray for the development of the ministry to women and families. Brothers are eager to organize a kindergarten for Yazidi children in the trailer, which hopefully will draw new families.
