Summer is a special time to minister to children and youth, as there are many opportunities to share the gospel with them during the holidays. Our ministers in Armenia try to make the most of this time by organizing and holding Christian outreach camps.

Thus, a camp for non-church teenagers and young people was held in Yerevan. Among the participants were those who first heard about God, sin, Jesus Christ, and eternity, so the mentors had to answer many questions in small groups and during individual conversations. After the camp, several youth meetings and a youth hike in the mountains have already taken place.

The day camps for children and teenagers, which our brothers and sisters were able to hold in the villages, had some peculiarities. Not only children but also their parents and even grandmothers came to Kakhtsrashen and Dekhtsut! They also listened carefully to the Word of God and asked many questions. And then they agreed to go on an excursion together. The fact that rural people leave their everyday chores and devote the whole day to communication with believers shows that the Lord is working with their hearts.

The camp in another village was first conducted by a team of young people of Kurdish nationality, who come from Yazidi families, but now have accepted Jesus Christ and want to serve the living God. Our missionary, who works among the Yazidi Kurds, is especially happy that God has given him good helpers in serving children.

We ask you to pray for those young men and women who heard the gospel and prayed a prayer of repentance during the altar call because the future of Christianity in Armenia is in the hands of these young people, so we need to invest as much as we can in young people so that when the time comes, they will continue to work in God’s field.

Please also pray for the Armenian families suffering due to the military conflict with Azerbaijan, and for the safe exodus of 120 thousand people from Nagorno-Karabakh to the territory of Armenia.
