The ministry of our family was difficult in October and early November. We thought that we are strong in the Lord, but, in reality we are weak and fragile. The Lord had allowed different circumstances, which caused us to humble ourselves and stop worshiping idols, namely our comfort zone. Our children were seriously ill, and now Nadya is sick. We are afraid that the kids might get sick again. I have been sick for half a month already. I had a fever for a week, and I have been tested in the hospital. I need to register in the infections department. The doctors have found hepatitis C in addition to B, which I had already. The doctors also say that I have chronic pancreatitis and cholecystitis. They want to put me in the hospital for treatment. We don’t have separate funds for treatment, so we use our family budget to do it. This is a test for us and a lesson. We learn to live for the glory of God at all times.

“I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:11-13

We continue to live with my mom and it is a big blessing for us. The conflicts have ceased, and we learn to show the love of God to each other. This victory is not ours, but our Lords. We are grateful to Him for that! We want to learn to be grateful to the Lord for all things. We humble ourselves before God and stay in His hands without any resistance. We understand who the Potter is. He breaks us through different circumstances in life and softens us with the Word of God to make us a vessel for His glory.

 

“Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making’? Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands’?” (Isaiah 45:9)

 

The process of the documents’ registration for the church building is still in process. At the moment, we have not received an occupancy permit for a small house where church services take place. It is considered unfinished, so we were fined on 10 thousand rubles. Our church is small, and it does not have that kind of money. Therefore, we rely only on God. In October, Oleksandr Sanych and Eugenij Kalinin visited us and we had a productive meeting. Eugene Kalinin brought the house documents and we wait for the ownership agreement. After we receive it, we will repair the place.

God blesses our church with children. We want them to join us in ministry and the worship of our Lord. The first part of the service includes worship and a Bible lesson. After the lesson, children sing and praise God. It is so cool; this is a must to see! For teens, we opened a club “The Future.” We are planning a three-day camp in November. We want to ask you to pray about it. On Mondays, we continue brothers’ morning prayer meetings, on Tuesdays – an evening prayer service. On Friday, we continue to study the Book of James. In addition, I plan to start lessons for the brothers, so that I am not the only person preaching in the church. Nadia leads women’s meetings on Wednesdays. The sisters are reading and talking about the Christian book “A beautiful wife.” Pray for the brothers and sisters and their spiritual growth, and for all the people who come into the Church.
