Dear friends, thank you very much for your prayers for the camp that took place in Armenia, in January, specifically for the families who became victims of war. We believe that the Lord was glorified through this event! I can say with 100% certainty that our entire team of ministers was not prepared for what we’ve gone through. The Lord says that when we are weak and infirm, then He is glorified.

Some of the camp participants lost a son, a husband, some was wounded, some could not yet find a son among those missing in action, someone lost a place. Our team had an opportunity to visit all these families before the camp.

As we held our second worship service, 38 people raised their hands after an invitation, showing their willingness to reconcile with God and give their lives to Him.

While wrapping up our last evening together, almost the entire audience raised their hands, expressing their desire to pray a prayer of repentance. Indeed, the Lord is our God and He is full of mercy! He continues to extend His mercy and grace!

I cannot say for sure whether all these people reconciled with God – the Lord scans the heart and knows who is His.

We are grateful to God that the Gospel was heard by many throughout the camp.

Let me share with you my thoughts of what I observed:

  •  As the participants arrived on the very first day, everyone seemed to be gloomy and sad with their tear-stained eyes. One mother, whose son died, pulled me on the side as I walked down the hall with Sevak and started showing me the pictures of her deceased son…
  • During the class, most of the children drew a war, and one boy drew a tank with the flag of Armenia because his older brother was killed in the tank…
  • Afterwards, the Lord did something amazing, and on the second day of the camp, in my camera lens, I began to see the first smiles on the gloomy and frowned faces of fathers and mothers who had lost their children.

Praise the Lord, He is an amazing God who knows the hearts! Even in the valley of pitch darkness, He is the LIGHT.

Our ministers continue to communicate and visit everyone who was in the camp. Please keep praying for continued ministry to these people.

We are weak, we do not have words of consolation for the grieving, only the Lord’s power is able to give us strength in such moments and only His Word is able to encourage the spirit!!! So, we are very grateful for every prayer!
