The war is still going on in Ukraine, and that means that our ministry to refugees and all those who need help at this difficult time, continues. The offensive of Russian troops in the east of our country is picking up again, and so there are a large number of people who want to flee the combat zone. That’s why we were evacuating a large number of people every day during May. I also went with my brothers to such hot spots to save people’s lives and tell them the Good News in this difficult time about how it is possible to have not only physical but also spiritual, eternal life in Jesus Christ.
Humanitarian aid has now become harder to get to people where they are, but we continue delivering the relief as close to hotspots as possible, and to churches that work with people in need. Also, we try to do our best to help refugees who are currently in Rivne with food, hygiene products, shoes, and clothes. Before handing out material help, we are sharing the Good News with them that they need most.
There is a need to help many displaced people and to evacuate people who are still in danger. At the same time, we understand that our attention has to be paid more to children and adolescents, in whom we have been investing for years through the Floorball Ministry. So we continue our training, where, as usual, we study the Bible and share the gospel. Finally, for the first time in a long time, and for the first time since the beginning of the war, we organized a trip to a friendly game in Lutsk, where we played on a large field with our local friends. It was important to inspire and motivate the team to press on because they are eager to take part in competitions that are not held now.
Thank you all for your prayers. We ask you to continue to pray for Ukraine, for the salvation of people, both physical and spiritual. For the children and adolescents, we work with in the floorball service, for their repentance and reconciliation with Christ. By the way, some of them are already helping in the church to work with refugees. We also ask you to pray for the team that serves the settlers in the Floorball Ministry. Those who serve in Floorball ministry also serve immigrants. Now their workload is doubled. May He be glorified in all the work for God!
