During the Missionary Conference the leaders do their best so that the church members could get to know the missionaries personally.
After all, the church members are interested in people, not organizations or projects. Then throughout the year, brothers and sisters keep praying for those missionaries – they always want to know news from them and inspire them in their service. To help people communicate, our guests are accommodated in the families of the church members, not in hotels. Throughout the week brothers and sisters invite the missionaries to dinner in their homes according to a specially made schedule.
A necessary part of the conference is to invite missionaries to the home groups where people can not only hear their testimonies, but also ask personal questions, find prayer needs and laugh or share sadness together. Besides, throughout the conference the leading brothers and the members of the missionary committee are holding special meetings with missionaries, praying and discussing ministry issues, results and future work perspectives in more detail.
The musical evening is a joyful chord of God’s glory. This year the worship evening was held on Wednesday. At this multinational meeting people listened to the testimonies of Christians and worship songs in different languages. It was like a small rehearsal before the Heavens! In Revelations 7:9 we read that people from every nation, tribe, and language will be standing before the Lamb.
