In Iran, the security situation has become even more tense: arrests of Christians have become more frequent, and pressure on churches has intensified. By order of the authorities, Afghan refugees, including our students, were forcibly returned to Afghanistan. Despite severe persecution, the Lord is growing underground churches there. Literature is being printed for them for secret distribution.
Our brother Mehran is currently serving an eight-year sentence in prison. Due to significant overcrowding, the conditions are extremely poor. He has lost a lot of weight, pray that his spirit remains strong.
In the summer, communication began with a group of secret believers inside Iran, who learned about the mission through watching video sermons and training programs – they showed a sincere desire to learn.
The house church Father’s House continues its ministry in the diaspora. Together with sisters and a brother from Iran, they serve refugees and Iranian tourists.
Thank God, sister Narges, who was saved from imprisonment in Iran, happily gave birth to a boy.
Pray for the baptism of believers from Iran, which is planned in the near future in a neighboring country. They will come for a few days to be with the church in teaching, prayer, praise, receive water baptism, and perform the breaking of bread. May Jesus’ Holy Name be glorified in this!
