Pleasantly surprised the number of people in their day off evening, who came to Church donating their time to worship God, to praise Him for His wonderful works, described by our brothers and sisters and to share with our sister Eve her memories, suffering and joy. I thank God that He has saved the life of this woman, and she is a living example of the fact that the Lord is faithful to those who trust Him all their life.
Sister Eve has shared with us, how the Church in the harsh conditions is still alive and wants to worship God even with the risk, that the whole family can be sent to a labor camp just for the fact of having the Bible. We must be thankful to God for having been born in a country where is freedom of religion, where we can freely talk about our Lord Jesus Christ.
For the Word of God there are no borders. If we feel in the body of Christ, then we are obliged to support in prayer a country, where there are 200 000 of our brothers and sisters who are going underground and 50 000, who are suffering for their faith in the camps. Eve therefore came to us, she is fighting for her country, that people pray about it.
In the most difficult moments of her life Eva felt the strong presence of God. That is what helped her to get through all the trials: the death of her husband in the camp from tortures, the death of her daughter from hunger, persecution and imprisonment. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.(Psalms 119:71). Even in prison God worked through her, Eve evangelized among prisoners, and eventually there was formed a clandestine church.
The Lord is looking for such a heart in which He is glorified!
