We invite you to read this prayer sheet to learn about the news of the mission, be inspired by the testimonies and join in our common prayer.
Let your light so shine before men,

Ministry of the Christian Ethics Department
The end of fall and winter were a busy and blessed period for the ministry of the Christian Ethics Department of our mission. Performances, holiday programs, and Bible lessons were held in the schools of Klevan and Rivne, as well as in churches. Our workers organized the preparation of Christmas gifts for children and the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and distributed large-print Bibles and Christian literature. During a trip to the Donetsk region, our ministers communicated and prayed with the soldiers. Ruslana Kovalchuk started a new Bible study group for women, and Arkady Slyoza has improved his spiritual education.
The Holyday of a Bible Day
On November 26, 2024, Bible Day was held at Klevan Special School # 1. It was initiated by the teacher of Christian ethics, Ruslana Kovalchuk, an employee of the Hope to People Mission. The slogan of the event dedicated to International Bible Day was from the Holy Scriptures: “Let this book of the Law not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it, for then you will make your ways successful, and then it will go well with you” (Joshua 1:8).
A camp for teenagers in Transcarpathia
From January 8 to 14, 2025, a Christian outreach camp, “Touch of Jesus,” for teenagers aged 12–17, was held in the village of Polyana, Transcarpathia region. 40 children from different regions of Ukraine and 14 mentors participated in the camp. The main topic of the camp was the study of the Gospel of Mark, chapters 1–6, with creative tasks and spiritual exercises. The program also included active recreation in the mountains and relaxation in thermal pools. A special highlight of the camp was the repentance of seven teenagers, including children from social centers, displaced people, and war victims. The participants prepared letters and crafts to support the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were later handed over to the front lines. The organizers of the camp express their sincere gratitude to all friends and partners for their prayers and financial support.
UNBREAKABLE
On January 13–18, 2025, one of the central and most anticipated events for members of the Christian Sports Club Sky took place – a winter youth camp. It was held at a recreation center near the Shatskie Lakes in the Volyn region. 35 people took part in the camp, creating a small but friendly community. Among them were experienced floorball players and beginners, for whom this camp was the first in their lives.
The Ministry to Ukrainian Soldiers Continues
Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine continues, and therefore, our ministry to Ukrainian soldiers continues. Over the past three months, mission staff and volunteers have prepared and made three trips to the frontlines to help the Ukrainian defenders, provide moral support, and preach the gospel to them. Despite difficult weather conditions, threats of shelling, and the moral devastation of the soldiers, these meetings became important events not only for the defenders but also for our volunteers, who are gaining invaluable experience in serving people in wartime.
Session at the Rivne Bible College Word of Grace
In February 2025, the second session of the new group of students of the Rivne Bible College Word of Grace took place. The minister of the Bible Church Source of Life in the town of Zdolbunov, Rivne region – Vitaliy Tymonko, taught the subject “Authority of the Bible and Basic Principles of Bible Study” (hermeneutics) to 32 young students from the churches of our Association.
The training lasted 10 days. It was held at the campsite in the village of Zalissya, which allowed the students to spend time together away from everyday cares and focus on studying the Word of God.
A home for displaced people is being renovated in Zalissya
With the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine, our suburban campsite in Zalissya, which was a place for children’s Christian camps, became a shelter for over 1,500 people forced to leave their homes. Today, 55 displaced people live here permanently — among them the elderly, mothers with children, and those whose homes were completely destroyed by the war. Thanks to donations from benefactors, the campsite’s employees not only provide its residents with food and housing but also try to give them a sense of community and hope through prayer meetings and Bible study.
Currently, another building is being built on the campsite’s territory: the walls have already been built, and the roof has been installed, but there is a lack of funds for heating. This project is a chance for the displaced people to settle down more comfortably and start a new chapter in their lives.
