Our missionary in France continues his work primarily in the ministry to Arabic-speaking migrants and refugees from Ukraine and local Christians who want to learn to better understand people from the Arab world and build relationships with them. The missionary’s wife uses her creative talents to serve children – she teaches them to draw and conducts Bible lessons for the youngest ones, and also serves migrant women from different countries, with whom she studies French language courses. The minister’s family joined a small local French Christian community close to him in spirit because it actively participates in the ministry of mercy and in evangelizing people from all nations.

While working with different categories of people of different religious views, the missionary noticed one common problem: often adherence to traditions prevents acceptance of the truth. And this applies equally to Ukrainian refugees and representatives of the Arab world. However, the Holy Spirit works and gradually destroys spiritual strongholds in people’s minds and hearts.

In his letter, our brother says:

“Bible school classes for Ukrainians already take place regularly in the premises of the church in the city of Tur. We used to gather at our house, but almost all Ukrainians left our town, so God gave us the idea to continue such classes in a big city where many Ukrainians live. We conduct two classes at the same time: for adults and a Bible lesson with creativity for children.

We also continue to provide various assistance to Ukrainians living in our region. We consult single women on what God says about family and how to properly approach the issue of finding a life partner. We help married couples build relationships in harmony and resolve conflicts by addressing God. We are trying to collect humanitarian aid to send to Ukraine.

In the summer, God allowed my wife to go to Ukraine to serve in a children’s camp. Sister Dorothy, the wife of our pastor, and sister Katun also visited Ukraine on a humanitarian mission.

Every first Saturday of the month from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., our humanitarian aid ministry at the church welcomes about 80 people of various nationalities. By communicating with them, the team members practice the evangelistic methods that I teach them in the evangelism seminars. Often we invite people to pray and give their problems to God and invite them to come and continue our communication in a personal meeting in the middle of the week. My circle of communication with Arabs is gradually expanding, with some of them we study the Word of God individually, but customs and traditions still take a very important place in their lives.

We pray that people who come to the church for material help will see in it the help that Christ Himself provides for them, and those who already listen and read the Gospel will open their hearts to Jesus.”
