Are there any wars in which the loving God must “take up arms” and lead an active war on the side of one of the armies? Is it possible to keep neutrality in this war?
On these and other important issues tried to answer the participants of the tour camp “Dzhereltse” which took place in Lviv from 22 to 25 July, 2015.
Kids Christian music and drama studio “Dzhereltse” exists in the Church “Source of Life” in Zdolbuniv. Her feature – the wide age range: Children from 5 years old and adults up to 65 years old (26 people – adults and 25 – children, 7 of them – non-church). In total 51 people attended the camp.
Spiritual purpose of the camp was to help the participants to learn “the face of the enemy.” What tactics and strategies does the devil use? What is his weapon? How can you be prepared to resist the arrows of the evil (pride, envy, avarice, fear, filthy, and others)? Answers to these questions were the main content of morning and evening spiritual discussions.
Especially practical lesson was on the theme of “Avarice”. Each team had a small amount of money that they could spend at their own discretion. It was a joy to know that most of the teams unanimously decided to donate the money given to them for the poor kids of the tourist group, with which”Dzhereltse” began a friendly relationship even during last year’s camp.
It is the children of the local tourism group helped to conduct lessons on the topic: “Fear – a weapon of the devil”, arranged for us the descend from the rocks in climbing equipment.

“Spiritual talks supported my faith. Helped to find an antidote to spiritual arrows. Particularly relevant to my heart was the arrows of profanity and fear. I am very afraid of the dark and I imagine a lot of horrors and ghosts. I begin to pray to God that He protect me from such imaginations. And in my heart appears peace.” Margarita, 11 years old.
“Every day we are bombarded with the arrows of the devil. This is reflected in our thoughts, words, actions… we all realized that to win the forces of evil and sin is impossible without God. Prayer and His Word help us in this.” Lyudmila, 65 years old.
All the participants and organizers of the camp realize that behind the valuable time of cognition the Word and the possibility of the group “Dzhereltse” to feel as a part of a single family of God stands the merciful Lord, who makes the hearts of people soft to invest in holding such camps. Thank you all for your support. We believe that God will sown in the hearts of children a grain of truth. May He also “supply all your need according to his riches to glory by Christ Jesus.”
