“And now let’s talk about sex”, – as soon as a lecturer saw his students sleeping he used this phrase and all the people in attendance woke up as if after drinking a cup of coffee.
Six groups of boys and girls in the total number of 50 people learned more about the topic “Embracing God’s Design for Sexuality” during the nine day camp. Eighty percent of those youth heard the Gospel and studied Scripture for the first time in their lives. Neither the Black Sea, nor the scorching sun could prevent them from hearing the truth about God and sexual relationships.
One of the guys shared, “I liked the camp a lot. However, the first day was shocking. There was a great atmosphere and very nice people, who discussed a rarely open and ticklish topic. And here it was so frank, maybe you are the only ones who openly discuss it and I liked it a lot”.
It was a great joy that some of young people found reconciliation with God. One of them is Sasha. During the game “Life” he came into a tent and joined a group of guys listening to the Gospel. After 5 minutes he kneeled and prayed: “God, I want to be close to You…” After returning home, he came to the church and showed his desire to get baptized.
Many others reevaluated their relationships with God and they keep relationships with the church. Some of them made a decision to keep pure before marriage.
We hope that God will grow His fruit in the hearts where the truth has been sown.
The team of workers was glad that God united them and worked not only in the hearts of campers but also in their own, changing their attitudes toward each other.
