The main part of the competition of the season for СFC “SKY” is over. But hopefully, ahead of us is an interesting and busy summer.

Actually, we’re not done yet with all competitions. The real challenge for our boys under 15 was the all-Ukrainian tournament “Lviv Open,” which brought the best teams in the country of this age range. It was very interesting for us to assess our level against the background of the strongest ones in Ukraine. And of course, we were eager to spend time with the guys, walk around the beautiful city and study the Bible together, since it’s a good opportunity to do that…

Our guys showed very results in the competition and almost made it to the finals, losing to their opponents in the semifinals with a score of 1:2, and eventually taking fourth place. Despite this, it was an invaluable experience for all of us, because for the first time the guys participated in a tournament of this level. It was also a great time to socialize, walk around the city to see sights, and study God’s Word together.

Another important thing for our ministry in this summer was the trip our three coaches to the Floor Hockey Mission School, where for two months they will be trained both spiritually and physically. They sacrifice almost all summer in order to become better for the work that God has entrusted to them and through which they serve Him.

Despite the summer holidays and the absence of some coaches, we continue to practice and preach the gospel at each training session. Summer is still ahead, and it is a time when children are often free. Please pray that during this time the children will not get lost, but on the contrary can join us on various trips, camps and, that God will work with their hearts, change them and help them come to know Him more fully.

Pray for the spiritual growth and dedication of the ministers who are now in the mission school to Christ and for those who are still here working with the children in the heat of the summer. Please pray for the repentance of children who have already heard a lot about Christ and the recruitment of new children, as well as for God to open the door to another school in Rivne for floor hockey games and practice, so that children there can hear the Gospel.
