On November 26, 2024, Bible Day was held at Klevan Special School # 1. It was initiated by the teacher of Christian ethics, Ruslana Kovalchuk, an employee of the Hope to People Mission. The slogan of the event dedicated to International Bible Day was from the Holy Scriptures: “Let this book of the Law not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it, for then you will make your ways successful, and then it will go well with you” (Joshua 1:8). Symbols of the holiday: The Bible is the spiritual bread of life, a korovai (a round loaf of bread) is physical bread, and water, without which a person cannot live and which was compared to Jesus Christ, Who gives living water, and whoever drinks it will never thirst.

Students in grades 3–4, together with their teachers, prepared a literary and musical composition, as well as a performance called “Hotel of My Heart.” They clearly showed everyone in the auditorium — including students, their teachers and parents, and the school administration — that only Jesus Christ can change our hearts and how important it is to listen to what He says to us through His Word, the Bible.

The young actors were very happy when they learned that they had been invited to show a play in the church Community of the Good Shepherd in Rivne. Their teachers and parents were also grateful for the invitation, so they gladly accepted it. The play was shown on December 8 in the first part of the Sunday service. Then, the children went to Sunday school, and the adults listened attentively to the sermon. Later, they shared their impressions, “This day will remain in our memory forever. Our hearts were really touched by the Word of God. We saw an example of how to do good things, support each other, and be guided by Christian values every day.”
