Our purpose was to make an interesting and active time for kids and to teach them biblical principles of life, to reveal a state of person’s heart and to show God’s love to everyone.
There were many kids from nonchristian families and also orphans for whom it was the first time to hear about God and to learn the Good News.
Team of leaders was from Transformation Church, Rivne.
There were 73 people, including leaders.
Every day we had the special theme for Bible lessons and evening services. We taught how wonderful and perfect God had made the world and how unique people were. Then we showed how sin had destroyed the perfect world of God and what influence it had on our lives. Next topic was God’s heart filled with love. We talked about how God showed us His love by sending His Son to the cross for sinful people. Then we had a lesson about changed heart. We talked about new person in Christ, we showed how people change after accepting Christ into their hearts. The last lesson was about two builders. We taught kids about foundation of their lives, we encouraged them to build their lives on Jesus and His Word.
Immanuel camp had a huge influence on all kids and leaders as well. The kids started to ask questions about God and His Word. Many of them has realized that their hearts are still sinful and they need God. We saw how God worked in kid’s hearts. Our aim was to plant the seed into their hearts. We wanted to inspire them to seek God and one day to accept Jesus into their hearts. Leades had very good time with kids talking about God and telling their own stories of repentance and changes in their hearts.
And some of kid’s feedbacks
‘I liked camp games and bible lessons’
‘I liked everything. I’ll miss the camp’
‘I like to be here. Leaders are very spiritual and they explain God’s Word in a good way’
‘I like singing and crafts’
‘I want to come here one more time’
We are thankful to everyone who helped us to have this camp. Thanks to you, many kids had the opportunity to hear the Gospel.
We ask you to pray for our team and the further work with these kids and their families.
