The third session of the new enrollment of students of the Rivne Bible College was held at our suburban campsite in Zalissya. The training on the subject “History of the Church” was conducted by Pastor Serhiy Kyrylenko — not only a teacher, but the one who also practices what he teaches: he planted a new church in the city of Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region, a region where it is very difficult to preach the Gospel. His passionate heart for the mission is especially seen in teaching Church history, where he focuses students’ attention on the development of God’s Kingdom through mission work.

For over 20 years, the Rivne Bible College Word of Grace has been preparing pastors, missionaries, and ministers for churches in Ukraine, neighboring countries, and Christian communities far abroad. It is a special Center of Christian training, where spiritual formation, academic depth, and practical minidtry are combined to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

In the 2024–2025 academic year, two of the three annual sessions have already taken place — and they were a great blessing for many. We’re so grateful to God for all the brothers and sisters who participated in organizing the entire process — thanks to you we did it!

The administrator of the college is a displaced person, a Pastor from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. For him, this work is a new thing, but he is catching up with it pretty quickly, handling all the challenges, and what is especially encouraging is that a brother who lost his home has found a new place of ministry.

Despite the war and economic crisis, we continue our training, invite new students, and support the ministry of graduates. Most of the students are young dedicated Christians, and it is especially pleasing that among them there are many brothers, potential ministers. There are also sisters — for them, the training is valuable and useful, so that they can join children’s and youth ministry, evangelism, and mentoring. Students especially enjoy the practical assignments and creative projects that require intense work over several days, and the brothers are inspired by the opportunity to give a short sermon every morning before classes begin. One young brother joined the college group from the third session because he heard good reviews about the college. Although he had already gone through a spiritual training before, he seeks to gain new knowledge specifically for the purpose of planting a new church near his city.

The educational program lasts three years and covers theological disciplines, spiritual formation, biblical counseling, apologetics, Church history, missionary work, etc. The teachers are experienced ministers, and the training is organized in the format of full-time and part-time sessions, which allows students to serve in local churches at the same time.

Through your participation and prayers, you are involved in gracious work of God: even in difficult time of war, there are young people who are ready to devote themselves to service and prepare for it. To ensure that this important project does not stop, we invite you to join this project. Any support you provide is a contribution to the training of ministers to spread the Gospel.
