Our minister to Uighurs is thanking God for all the blessings and for providing for his family. They work with the local church in the diaspora. Every Friday, they get together with brothers to study a short course on how to take apart and interpret the Bible on their own, how to apply it properly and then preach the gospel to other people. He has also taught this course in other Asian countries, so it’s a really good one. The brothers were overjoyed as they began to perform practical tasks and share what God had revealed to them in His Word with their loved ones. One brother has already formed a group of Bible study from people in his circle.
Our employee has the opportunity to travel four times a week to areas where more than 15,000 Uighurs live. The brother says that they are very open to communication. He shares with them biblical parables and rejoices because he feels that God is at work there.
He works individually with a young Uighur who has repented but has a deep fear that his family will find out that he is associating with Christians. He was very surprised that our minister was a Christian, although he came from Central Asia.
