In 2025, the Christian Mission Hope to People continues to actively develop floorball ministry in schools in the city of Rivne. Thanks to this, many students regularly hear the Gospel at the practice, during sports competitions, and in camps. Nine of them have already put their faith in Jesus and joined the city’s Christian communities.

On January 13–18, 2025, one of the central and most anticipated events for members of the Christian Sports Club Sky took place – a winter youth camp. It was held at a recreation center near the Shatskie Lakes in the Volyn region. 35 people took part in the camp, creating a small but friendly community. Among them were experienced floorball players and beginners, for whom this camp was the first in their lives.

This year, the camp was called “Unbreakable.” During Bible classes, camp participants studied the first six chapters of the Book of Daniel. They talked about the character of Daniel and his friends, about their dedication to God and the firmness of their faith. And in them the teenagers saw the character of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was also unbreakable in fulfilling His mission. He came to earth and voluntarily went to death to give us all true life.

There was time for communication and games in the camp. Each group prepared various tasks for the evening program on the theme of the day, which they then presented to everyone. In this way, the mentors tried to ensure that all the stories considered and God’s actions were even more deeply etched in the memory of the teenagers and young people. The central part of the evening program, of course, was the sermon, which emphasized how Christ acted while on earth and what love He showed us, fulfilling His mission to the end, without breaking at any point of his life here.

Why do the organizers call this camp the central event in the ministry? Because, being together for five days, the mentors can share the Gospel in different ways every day and throughout the day with those they work with throughout the year. And God in this camp, through His Word and personal relationships, often changes the minds and hearts of young people, they become more open to follow-up meetings after the camp.
Throughout the camp, the team prayed for all the participants, and especially for those who have not yet accepted Jesus as their Savior, asking that the Lord pour out His love and grace upon them. Please pray for those who were at the camp and heard the Gospel, so that the sown Word of God will sprout in their hearts for salvation.
