The Rivne Christian School “Svitoglyad” has successfully completed its fourth academic year!
The camps on school property and holidays for children are around the corner, and as for adults, there is a serious challenge ahead of them: enrollment of students for the next school year, preparation of the playground, and construction of the third floor of the gymnasium. May God help you!

And now we want to turn back a few pages and recall God’s blessings of this year’s spring.

At the beginning of March, boys from the second grade approached the school principal with their project — to raise funds for a drone for our Armed Forces. The school administration, teachers, and parents supported the children’s initiative, this news spread throughout the school, city, country, and even beyond. And within a few weeks, the drone was purchased and handed over to our defenders as planned. Together with the “bird,” the children handed over to our defenders their drawings and letters with words of gratitude and respect.

In April, the school’s students took part for the first time in the ” Young Bible Scholars” Olympiad, organized by the Public Organization “Called to Win” and the Rivne Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education. Nine of them became prize-winners of the 1st stage, and 4th-grade student, Timur Korotkevich, took an honorable 3rd place at the 2nd stage of the regional student Olympiad “Young Bible Scholars” in the Rivne region. We wish that our students will skillfully use the acquired knowledge in everyday life, to take root and enrich themselves in the Word!

Morning with the pastor is a special weekly event in “Svitoglyad,” where all grades can come together, glorify God together, view the photos of the week and, of course, hear pastoral instructions: about obedience and steps to victory, forgiveness, and betrayal, trust and force of the words on how to overcome fear and rely on God. The pre-Easter week, the Easter quiz, and Easter itself, which was celebrated twice this year, became unforgettable for the students!

An excursion to the exhibition of paintings “The Life of Jesus Christ in Works of Art,” which took place on these days, helped children to better understand the overall picture of the human soul’s salvation through life, death, and resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Not only students but also teachers learn at “Svitoglyad.” At pedagogical meetings and seminars, teachers learn about new approaches to learning and tools that will help them make lessons more effective and interesting for students. The training also helps teachers to improve their classroom management and student interaction skills.

On April 29, a meeting of school teachers with teachers of the Christian Open Academy took place.

Many more events held by the community of “Svitoglyad” were posted on social platforms: Shevchenko Days, Vyshyvanka Day, and Mother’s Day, communication with bright special children and a charity fair, a talent evening and a concert of the chamber ensemble of the Rivne Regional Philharmonic, an intense chess tournament and interesting meetings of the reading club. learning the Polish language and the English club, a trip to the farm, congratulating people who had birthdays, emotional meetings with soldiers who came on vacation from the frontline and visited “Svitoglyad.”

We are very grateful to our Armed Forces, who protect our children’s childhood and their right to go to school for learning!

Praise be to the Almighty God for His protection and blessings!
