Christmas in “Svitoglyad”<\/strong><\/p>\n

A special tradition of the school during the Christmas holidays is to gather with the whole school family and to recreate the events of the Savior’s birth, where children are biblical characters and parents are attentive viewers. This is the time when in every classroom of the school the teachers try to state that His birth gives us the courage and does a miracle in our life, and encourages us to take a step of faith! Everyone is called for victory, submission, recognition of their weakness, and His power! Christmas is a time when everything slows down and the quiet melody of the heart rings out, telling people that He has come!<\/p>\n

Trip to Poland<\/strong><\/p>\n

When our bags were packed, and lunch boxes were ready, our team from Svitoglyad school has gone on the first long trip to a neighboring country.<\/p>\n

A trip in the middle of the war is an incredible gift from our good Polish neighbors. Our children were hospitably welcomed by Tomasz\u00f3w Lubelski. It was a good time when, for five days, we experienced special care from the statesmen of Tomasz\u00f3w County, Henryka Karwana, and Jaros\u0142awa Korzenia.<\/p>\n

Together we had an opportunity to learn the history of new cities; we visited an interactive center \u2014 a place that inspired and encouraged us to explore the surrounding world with the help of our senses; we explored slides, trampolines, a climbing wall, and springboards with ropes in amusement parks; and had a unique opportunity to virtually control the elements of nature, create our own melody, sense the smells and test our strength on a laser obstacle course.<\/p>\n

We returned home full of the brightest impressions from this unforgettable educational trip!<\/p>\n

A holiday in the middle of everyday life \u2014 Nutella Day in “Svitoglyad”!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who does not like sweets?<\/p>\n

Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread needs no promotion! It is known and loved by many adults and children all over the world!<\/p>\n

Students experienced so much joy and received a boost of energy for learning new things as they tried pancakes with Nutella!<\/p>\n

Foundations of “Svitoglyad”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today’s challenges are well known to all of us: power outages, air-raid sirens, and classes in the bomb shelter. It’s not really easy to be a leader at this time. We asked the principal of the school, Mrs. Iryna Kurchenko:<\/p>\n

– What motivates you to continue working on the development of the school during the fierce military challenges?<\/p>\n

– My answer will be on behalf of the team because it is impossible to work on the development of the school alone. We are strongly motivated by our mission and complete dedication. By teaching children every day, we continue to protect their childhood and the right to education; we try to embrace them with a prayer, a word, or a touch when parents are not around, but fear takes over their childish consciousness. We\u2019re determined to continue to provide education that falls on hard times during this brutal war. Nowadays, every employee of “Svitoglyad”<\/a> know exactly what the saying “keep the educational battle order”! means. The efforts our teachers make today are simply huge! But, the foundation of the new generation’s worldview and a complete personality is formed, and our true values are tested specifically in such difficult circumstances. Today, using the examples of our defenders, volunteers, and teachers, children see how a social system closer to moral and spiritual standards is being built in the country. After all, examples for children are more important than any teachings. Therefore, we will try to pass on our acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities to our children; we try to generously share our positive emotions; overcome fatigue together; from time to time our entire school is engaged in collecting help for our soldiers in order to bring the long-awaited Victory over the Russians aggressor closer every day.<\/p>\n
