The LOST youth Christian camp took place at the church campground in Zalissya, Rivne region, Ukraine from July 17 to 22, 2023.<\/p>\n

This time the theme of the youth camp was “Invisible War” (which means spiritual war).<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

On different days of the camp, in sermons and Bible lessons, we talked about the rebellion of the devil against God, about the human fall and that Jesus Christ nailed all our sins on the cross. It was said that the resurrection is proof that His sacrifice was accepted. And on the last day in the camp, texts were read that call Christians to mobilize in God’s army for the cause of service. All other activities, games, decorations were aimed at reinforcing this theme: Jesus won on the cross!<\/p>\n

There were a total of 68 people in the camp. Participants \u2013 53, team members \u2013 15. Of them, 21 participants were in the camp for the first time. Age category: 14-26 years. Geography of participants: Latvia \u2013 Riga, Ukraine Kyiv, Bucha, Zaporizhzhya region, the village of Mykhailivka (displaced people now in Rivne), Dnipropetrovsk region. Kamianske, Khmelnytskyi region, Shepetivka, Vinnytsia region. Ladyzhyn, Rivne, Rivne region, the village of Basalt.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was special, given the theme of the camp. We also had a spiritual struggle, we fought for souls, and for the Truth. We enjoyed getting to know each other, communicating, influencing, having heartfelt and spiritual conversations, and praying. Of course, we had a special time for entertainment, games, jokes…<\/p>\n

Responds to the camp program were pretty different because people are different. Everyone definitely liked general games, contests, quests, and sports. The topics of lessons and sermons touched many participants’ hearts. For believers, it was a time of rethinking, introspection, and decision-making. And for non-believers, it was a good time to look at their life from a different perspective. There were many different questions. For example, Yulia was wondering what she would do if she knew everything and did not experience regeneration. Some decided to attend small groups (Lisa). Serhiy repented and decided to follow Jesus and become His disciple.<\/p>\n

All participants expressed their desire to come to LOST at least once again.<\/p>\n
