The major part of teams of our Christian floorball club “SKY” had a break in training for July and August. And the summertime is, as always, a good time for camps.<\/p>\n

Therefore, at the beginning of July, we held a camp for children up to 13 years old, mainly those who play floorball. We chose a topic that is currently very relevant for our country \u2013 these are the battles that are described in the Bible. The climax of all these battles was the battle of Jesus, which He fought for our salvation and won on the cross, through His resurrection. In the morning, we had Bible lessons, and in the evening an evening program with a sermon on the same topic. We also held various games and contests that were focused on the theme of the camp, and just spent time with the children, talking and enjoying time together.<\/p>\n

At the end of July and beginning of August, a floorball camp for teenagers was held, where we brought teenagers from our team led by coaches. The theme of the camp was “Part of the Plan,” where we talked about God’s plan for people’s lives. And He wants us to be saved, for this, He sent His Son, who died for our sins on the cross. It was an interesting and useful time together, where we had a lot of floorball and other activities.<\/p>\n

In order to have more influence on the children between these events and after them we held meetings on Sundays for the children who work in our club. At these meetings, we did different things, watched cartoons, cooked pizza together, played games, and chatted.<\/p>\n

We thank God for this summertime and all the activities that He allowed to take place and for the Word that sounded there! Please pray for the new training season, which has already started at the end of August! Pray that we could continue to train in the schools where we taught before and, if it is God’s will, to start training in one more school in the city. Pray for the recruitment of new children who could hear the gospel, for the repentance of those who are already on the team, as well as for the growth in the knowledge of Christ of the group of ministers.<\/p>\n
