The late fall and early winter were a busy and blessed period of time for the ministry of the Christian Ethics Department of our mission. Under the leadership of Arkady Slyoza and Ruslana Kovalchuk, many events took place that united children, teachers, military personnel, and all those who wanted to learn about the Word of God.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

On November 26, Klevan Special School # 1 celebrated International Bible Day. The students prepared a performance called \u201cHotel of My Heart,\u201d the main idea of which was to show that only Jesus Christ can change the human heart. On December 8, the children visited the Rivne Church Community of the Good Shepherd with this performance.<\/div>\n

On December 18, the department received a long-awaited batch of large-print Bibles for people with poor vision from the charitable foundation \u201cEastern European Humanitarian Mission.\u201d Sister Ruslana is also grateful to God and the staff of the All-Ukrainian Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Culture \u201cDobro\u201d and the Belgian mission for the beautifully illustrated spiritual literature that she was able to give to her students and colleagues before the Christmas holidays.<\/p>\n

Churches from Poland, the Netherlands, and the USA, as well as students from local schools, prepared Christmas gifts for the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our mission staff collected them and handed them over to the servicemen during a trip to the Donetsk region on December 22\u201324. They congratulated our defenders on Christmas and shared about the purpose of the coming to earth of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Spiritual work continues in the peaceful cities of Ukraine. In December, Ruslana Kovalchuk organized a Christmas breakfast for teachers and started a new Bible study group for women. All these events not only brought many people closer to Christian values but also became an example of true love, support, and faith.<\/div>\n
