The ministry of evangelism has taken different forms at different times and among different peoples. These include mass evangelistic gatherings, festivals and conferences, media ministry, personal evangelism, Bible studies in groups, and many other ways of bringing the Good News, which often complement each other.<\/p>\n

Our employees in Armenia, especially those who serve in villages among the Yazidi Kurds, Assyrians, refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh, and people affected by the war, combine Christian testimony with practical help. They visit the sick, lonely, and needy people in their homes, listen to their life stories, pray with them, share the Gospel, and help in any way they can.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

In difficult life situations, people often turn to God for help, repent, and ask to be prayed for. We do not fully know what is happening in their hearts or how sincere such repentance is; the Lord knows this. We promise to pray and ask as many people as possible to pray.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we briefly present the stories of people who need our prayers. May our joint prayer raise their requests to the throne of grace, so that the Lord will show His mercy and grant His grace according to their needs.<\/p>\n

Sevak Parvanyan:<\/p>\n

“We visited the widow A., her husband died of cancer, and she was left alone with three children. She has two daughters and a younger son who was diagnosed with autism. During the visit, we talked about illnesses, and it was a good opportunity for us to share the Gospel that the Fall brought illness, suffering, and death into the world, but Christ is the Savior from the eternal consequences of sin. Pray for the salvation of this family; it is not happening haphazardly that the Lord gives relationships with these people.”<\/p>\n

Karo Stepanyan:<\/p>\n

“I visited our Yazidi brother K. We haven’t been able to meet recently because he works 7 days a week. On the day of the meeting, he didn’t go to work on purpose. We talked for a long time, and I saw faith in him. He will soon go to the mountains with his family. We prayed together that the Lord would arrange everything, because the weather is unfavorable, and it is raining a lot. But the Lord’s mercy is greater than we can imagine! As every year, this time we agreed to meet there. Pray that God will prepare everything. I’m planning to show the film “Jesus” based on the Gospel of Luke in the mountains in their language. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of the people, provide for their financial needs, and organize the screening of the film.<\/p>\n

I visited brother M twice last week. God is at work in their lives; they constantly pray both in their family and with their friends. Last week I asked M. for asparagus seedlings, and the seedlings were at his house the next day. When I went to get them, his wife said that many people in the village had asked him to bring them, but he refused because it was very difficult to dig them up with their roots in the mountains. In addition, he had to carry them with him all day and walk about 4 km back home in the evening. When I asked him why, despite all the difficulties, he brought the seedlings, the husband replied: \u201cYou preach the Word of God; that\u2019s why I brought them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sister A. had been feeling very unwell recently, and the doctors said that she had a heart problem. She decided to have a heart test and have a stent inserted. We started praying, and the sister went for the test, feeling helpless and worried. However, the results were good; thank God, no heart problems were found. Brother G. underwent a very complicated operation and was in great pain. We prayed, and now he feels a little better. We ask that you continue to pray for the health of Sister A. and Brother G.<\/p>\n

We visited a large family in a difficult life situation and presented the children with various stationery items for school. We had the opportunity to share our testimony of Christ with them. Four souls heard the Gospel, two of them repented, and we prayed together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Araik Stepanyan:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were invited to visit a family whose members used to come to our youth meetings. It turned out that three brothers, their wives, and their mother live in the house. They heard the Gospel, and two brothers and their mother wanted to give their lives to Christ. They agreed to continue meeting because they realized they needed spiritual care.<\/p>\n

We visited a possessed girl. Her mother has been taking care of her for 16 years. During the conversation, we told the biblical story of how Christ healed the demon-possessed man. The girl\u2019s mother listened to us, with tears in her eyes, praising God and asking for help. We prayed together and said goodbye, agreeing to meet again.<\/p>\n

Two members of the church visited a seriously ill man. He was screaming in his room from severe pain. Other family members welcomed us into the living room. We talked, asked about the diagnosis of the sick person, and shared the Good News about Christ, who performed miracles of healing. At the end, we prayed with the sick person and his family, hoping for the next meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n

In conclusion, it is worth saying that not only do missionaries visit people, but missionaries are also visited.<\/p>\n

In early March, sister Nina Parvanyan was hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing. As a result, she got a broken leg and is limited in her mobility for several months. During this time, many people visited her. Sister Nina says, \u201cThe Lord allowed us to talk to unbelievers about the importance of a relationship with Him because their eternity depends on it. We also had good conversations with believers about our hope for the reality of meeting Christ. For me, this situation taught me a lesson: I do not want to live my life in vain, but to live pleasing God, building His Kingdom, because the moment will come and our faith will become reality.”<\/p>\n
