The late September caught me off guard…<\/p>\n

Greetings, dear brothers and si<\/em>sters!<\/em><\/p>\n

I’d like to share about my ministry in October 2018.<\/p>\n

Praise be to God for his mercy to me! The end of September has kind of taken me by surprise, in the sense I got into an awkward situation. My car’s wheel got stuck in an open manhole as I was driving down the street, but thank God nobody was injured, and passers-by helped me to get the car out of this hole.<\/p>\n

\"Now,<\/p>\n

Thanks God the early October was more blessed for me. That is to say, my friend and helper Konstantine got married, and the wedding was held in the church. God gave us so many guests both believers and non-believers. One of the things that bring joy to my heart that Gospel rang out even during the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I continue to lead two small groups. On Tuesday, we work our way through the program: \u201cPractical Knowledge of God.\u201d On Thursday, I have another group, at which we\u2019re studying the Epistle to the Galatians now.<\/p>\n

Besides that, we recently held several meetings of our church council. During the meeting we sketched out plans for our further work, and took stock of the past year.<\/p>\n

A special blessing for us was the coming of the brother, who held two very good seminars. One was held at our church, and the other in another city. One of these two topics really hit the spot and I liked it best, it was called: \u201cChristians with Calloused Hearts.\u201d This topic was accompanied with two practical counseling in the real time mode. In another city, the topic of the seminar was: \u201cPassivity of Men, The Reasons and How to Deal with them.\u201d God revealed me some of my problems and showed me how to deal with them. Thank God!<\/p>\n

Finally, the long-awaited trip to the village of Gvasyugy, where the unreached Udege people live, has come to pass (we traveled 1000 km). Thank God that we had the opportunity to bring along the warm clothes and groceries for brother Sergey. Please pray for the funds so that they will be able to purchase the firewood for the winter.<\/p>\n

Sergey in a circle of friends<\/p><\/div>\n

I was very excited to see the ministry of Sergey, who selflessly toils in that far-off place for the glory of our Lord. I was also thrilled that God has turned the life of one local man around. At the beginning, he was only attending the worship services silently. Later, he opened up and said that it is still hard for him to pray out loud before others, and this is why he prays under his breath. Looking at him, you can see how the Holy Spirit works in his heart, teaching him how to turn, in all difficult situations, to Jesus Christ and seek help only in Him.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we did not get to talk to the first believer-sister from this people group, since she wasn’t around because of the incident. As she was coming back from her relatives in the evening, she ended up falling off the bridge into a river. This was a suspension bridge without railings. At that very moment, there was a very strong wind. So, she could not stand against it and fell into the cold water, where she laid helplessly at least for a few hours. After a while, some neighbors happened to hear something and came to her rescue helping her out. They called an ambulance from a neighboring village, because there is no clinic or emergency ward in this village. As soon as the ambulance got to the scene, she was finally taken to the hospital in the nearest town. As she was examined, the doctors discovered some serious injuries. Currently, she is in the hospital and, it will take at least several months for her to fully recover. Please pray for her recovery, and for her spiritual state.<\/p>\n

On the Way to the Hamlet<\/p><\/div>\n

Please keep me in your prayers as well. Sometimes, I have pain and tingling in my heart. Early November, I plan to stay in the hospital for a yearly checkup because of my chronic disease. I’ve got accepted to Bible school again and, on December 4th, I\u2019m going to go for my training. By this time, I’d love to get over with all my medical issues.<\/p>\n
