In the beginning of November 2012, the anointment of ministers in the church \u201cNew Life\u201d took place in Kilija, Odessa region. Vjacheslav Gutsuluk was anointed as a pastor, and Andrej Dubrovin (pictured to the left) as a deacon. Both of these brothers are the graduates of Rivne Bible College.<\/p>\n
Pray about church strengthening for ministry in this area.<\/p>\n
24-25 of November, a celebration took place in the church \u201cHome of Agape\u201d, Dneprodzherzhinsk. The founders of this church were missionaries of Hope to People. One of them, Sergej Timofejev (first from the left), was anointed to be a pastor there. Brother Fedor Tsarevskij (first from the right) was anointed to be a deacon. He and his family are the first members of the church \u201cHome of Agape\u201d.\u00a0Pray\u00a0about\u00a0the theological\u00a0education\u00a0of this church\u2019s members.<\/p>\n
New church \u201cSvento Drom\u201d (Holy path) was created in Stahanov, Luganks region, and consists mostly from Roma people. On December 9th<\/sup>, Vyacheslav Selivanov was ordained as the pastor of the church. Vyacheslav and Oksana Selivanovi repented 20 years ago.\u00a0They are indigenous Stakhanov citizens. When the first gypsies repented and started attending their church, they became friends with them, and later their regular mentors and teachers.The church prayed about the Roma people\u2019s repentance and now there are about thirty of them. This young church is very passionate about spreading of the Gospel to their people. Therefore, they drive around the Lugansk region, where the Roma people live, and share the Gospel, share personal testimonies, and how they follow God.Pray about the spiritual growth of this new church.<\/p>\n Ten years of missionary ministry in Armenia<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n On the 24th<\/sup>\u00a0December, our church celebrated ten years of our missionary ministry, as well as, ten years of our central church “Ararat” in Yerevan. By God\u2019s mercy, Hope to People was a participant of the spread of the Gospel and ministry development there. In 2002, for exploration purposes, Artur Marandjan was sent there and his brother Artak afterwards. They receive financial support, which Suren Arutunjan received later. Theological educationwas also created. During this period of time, churches in Kahtsrashan and Avshor were created. We are satisfied with the fruitful partnership with the church \u201cArarat\u201d from Yerevan.<\/p>\n Pray about continuation of financial support for ministry in Armenia.<\/p>\n \u201cHeart\u00a0<\/b>Restart 2012-2013″<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n The 4th<\/sup>\u00a0youth conference \u201cHeart Restart 2012-2013″ took place in the Bible Missionary Church “Source of Life” in Zdolbuniv, Rivne region with the topic “Born to win.”. Including the team, it was attended by 180 people. There were guests from Belarus (Minsk, Stolin), Russia (Moscow) and the different regions of Ukraine (Kiev, Mariupol, Arciz, Colomiya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sarni, Dneprodzerzhinsk, etc.). Each day was full of spiritual preaching and fellowship.<\/p>\n On New Year’s Eve we had a game “What? Where? When ?”. On the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0of January we had a singing and worshiping evening and on January 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0youth were divided into small groups and shared the Gospel.<\/p>\n Pray about youth of the Association of Bible Missionary Churches of Ukraine, for them to be strong in faith and their dedication to God\u2019s ministry, and for them sharing about Christ to their peers.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b>Missionary conference in Rivne<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n On the 20th of January, 2013, the 17th Missionary conference on the topic :\u00a0<\/i>\u201cAnd so you became a model to all\u2026The Lord\u2019s message rang out from\u2026\u201d (1 Thessal. 1:7-8)<\/i>\u00a0started in the church \u201cCommunion of the Good Shepherd\u201d. The missionaries and ministers from different parts of Ukraine (Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Lugansk, and Rivne regions), Russia (Primorskij Krai), and the USA came to the conference. All conference participants received spiritual encouragement.<\/p>\n Pray about the formation of missionary vision among the members of Christ\u2019s Body.<\/p>\n Christian winter camps Pray about spiritual birth of children and students, who attended a camp.<\/b><\/p>\n From the 5th<\/sup>\u00a0through 11th<\/sup>\u00a0of January 2013 the Sport Department of Hope to People had a winter soccer camp on the topic: \u201cGod, what do you want from me?\u201d It was in the Carpathians, as per tradition, near the artificial soccer field. The specialty of the camp was that the older members of the soccer team \u201cHope\u201d were the couches and group leaders for younger boys.\u00a0Pray about all Oleksandr Gonchar (the chief coach) and that the boys will grow dedicated to God, His Word and His Church Christians.\u00a0The church \u201cCommunion of Christ the Savior\u201d from Elista (Kalmikija) organized a children\u2019s day-time camp on the topic \u201cChrist\u2019s style\u201d during Christmas days. Fifteen children based their study of character and lifestyle of Jesus Christ based on the New Testament. Besides that, they played, sang, and did crafts. The Education Department of the International organization “Hope to People” and the Second Presbyterian Church of Memphis, organized a Christian camp for students and orphanage graduates from Rivne region, involving students from Colomya (01.07.13 – 01\/14\/13). The camp took place in Iltsi, Ivano-Frankivsk region, for 40 people. The topic of the camp was: \u201cFind your way\u201d. The program included morning and evening worship, study of the book of Psalms, the video-seminar \u201cHow to control destructive emotions.\u201d The special blessing was the opportunity to go skiing, snowboarding, sliding, and otherwise enjoying the wonderful nature created by God.<\/b><\/p>\n
