In September 2024, Christian football club Nadiya celebrated its 20th anniversary! Thank God that for two decades the employees of the mission – the coaches of the football teams of the club have the opportunity to glorify Christ and preach the gospel through sports ministry. Even during the war, the football club continued its work, which is a good testimony to the children and their parents that God gives hope for the future!
Today, the Christian football club Nadiya includes more than 100 participants aged 5 to 22, four children’s, youth and adult teams. “We play for God, both on the field and outside of it!” — an unchanging motto of the club.

For the celebration, they gathered in the premises of the Community of the Good Shepherd church in Rivne, because more than 20 football players of Nadiya were baptized in this church, more than 30 – became members of other evangelical churches and are involved in various ministries there. It is an exciting thing that some of the Nadiya players have become coaches of Christian football teams. Among the former players of the club are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are now at the frontlines defending their native land and protecting each of us from the enemy.
The longstanding ministry of CFC Nadiya has proved that evangelism through sports is an effective way to reach people and influence the world. We believe that the Lord will continue to bless our service and open up new perspectives.
