On April 22, 2025, our employees Vyacheslav Arterchuk and Arkady Slyoza went to the Donetsk region to deliver aid to 16 military units. We have known some of the military for three years, while our employees met others for the first time – they evangelized, prayed and gave out prayer books. Everything with a request to God for protection for those who hold the front.
Preparation for the trip took a long time. Help was collected little by little — from a school fair in Rivne to donations from Khmelnytskyi, Boryspil, and Zvyahel — they traveled to different places and gradually loaded into a large van what our defenders needed.
Dobropillya met Vyacheslav and Arkady with both warmth and pain: they were happy to meet new people, but it was incredibly difficult to hear stories about shelling and burials right in the yards of local residents.
On the way to Kramatorsk — a warning about drones near the village of Andriyivka. And here, as if a sign from above: on the most dangerous parts of the road, the car was caught up in a heavy downpour — drones do not fly in the rain! At the end of the dangerous section, the sun and a rainbow seemed to confirm God’s protection.
In Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Kostyantynivka, Chasovye Yar, they hugged soldiers from the 81st, 93rd, and 24th brigades. They asked for the most necessary things — generators, and camouflage nets. And also — they simply heard the Word of God. In Druzhkivka, three soldiers listened attentively to the Gospel, one cried after a joint prayer…
Let’s pray for our defenders and remember: being there is an action, not just words.
