The seventh session of the Word of Grace (Slovo Blahodati) Bible College in Rivne took place from September 22 to October 1, 2026. Eighteen students participated in the training.
The “Apologetics” course was taught by Viacheslav Dmytrovych Kruppa, a pastor and teacher of theological subjects with extensive experience in both ministry and teaching. He received his theological education at the Irpin Biblical Seminary, where he completed a bachelor’s program in pastoral ministry and, in 2008, earned a Master of Divinity degree.

The topic of apologetics proved to be highly practical and relevant. Students discussed how to explain their faith, answer challenging questions about God, the Bible, and Christianity, and engage in conversations with people who hold different beliefs or harbor doubts. A key takeaway was the understanding that defending one’s faith requires not only sound arguments but also respect and love for one’s opponent.
The course consisted of lectures, various assignments, and a project in which students independently researched different religious groups.

Students had the opportunity not merely to listen to the material but to reflect on it, seek answers, and learn how to apply the knowledge they gained in practical situations. Interacting with the teacher—not only during class but also in free time—was particularly memorable. Students asked many questions, spoke about their concerns, and discussed various life situations and scenarios that might arise in ministry. The teacher was very open to conversation.
This session offered a great opportunity not only to gain new knowledge but also to reflect once again on what we believe and why. The training helped students strengthen their faith and prepare to speak about Christ to others peacefully, wisely, and with love.
We thank God for this time of learning, for the teacher’s efforts, and for the students and the sincere fellowship that became a vital part of this session.
