September is always the beginning of something new, because it is associated with a new school year in the lives of both children and their parents and teachers, who have to adjust their lives to new circumstances after the summer.

This academic year, department employee Ruslana Kovalchuk has lessons in Christian ethics in grades 3–6 and 8 at the Klevan Special School # 1 and in grades 5–7 at the Ukrainian Lyceum in Rivne. Sister Ruslana goes to the village of Klevan twice a week and, in addition to teaching lessons, has already started preparations for two events: Thanksgiving Day (for students of grades 3-4 and their teachers) and Bible Day (a quest for students of grades 5-6).

Trips to the social center for minors in the village of Oleksandria have resumed. There are currently 31 people living there. These are social orphans, among them many teenagers — 13 children aged 12 to 16. For three children who celebrated their birthdays in September, a team of volunteers from various churches in Rivne, which includes Arkady Slyoza, organized a celebration with gifts, pizzas and games.
