Since September 2025, Rivne Christian Lyceum Svitoglyad has been a licensed educational institution.

The institution has been headed by a new principal, Andriy Panchuk, a man of vision and responsibility, a servant of education, who strives for Svitoglyad to be not just a school, but a place of growth, trust, and God’s presence in the daily little things.

27 new students sat down at the lyceum’s desks and were allowed to receive a quality education in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and God’s presence. Currently, 103 children study at Svitoglyad, and each of them is valuable to a large educational family.

Life at the Lyceum is a dynamic space of learning, development, and inspiration. Each event forms an educational environment in which a child grows not only intellectually, but also spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

Adaptation Camp for First-graders

The adaptation camp for new students became an important stage in children’s entry into school life. Excursions, trips, robotics classes, creative workshops, sports games, and, of course, lessons of IEW (“I explore the world”), mathematics, English, Polish and Ukrainian languages, physical education, art – all this took place in an atmosphere of support and joy of knowledge. This is a special time when children gently transition from the preschool environment to the status of students, learn to interact, trust, and feel that they are part of the community.

Charity Happy Friday

Charitable and Tasty Friday became an example of how good deeds can be cordial and tasty at the same time. You could sell a burger and use the proceeds as a donation to equip new classrooms. 156 children from the school and their parents received their burger prepared by the school administration. Judging by the smiles, you could say that they really liked it, and the common cause united our community even more.

Science Day in Lutsk

Our students went on a field trip to Lutsk to see how science comes to life outside the classroom. Such trips form a scientific worldview, interdisciplinary thinking, and a strong motivation to learn in children, because knowledge supported by field experience is remembered much more deeply and longer.

Christmas holidays in Poland: Learning through Experience

During the Christmas holidays, our children traveled to Poland. This trip fulfilled several important educational tasks: communication with native speakers, cultural and educational development, and the formation of personal and social skills. Cooperation with Polish organizations allows our children to develop comprehensively and, with new experience be useful to Ukrainian society.

Educational Meetings, Culture and Sports

Our students had a unique opportunity to get familiar with Plast – the Ukrainian scout movement, visit museums, theaters, and movie theaters.

A warm meeting took place with the Ukrainian writer and storyteller Lesya Kichura. Her fairy tales travel the world: they have visited Antarctica and Japan, settled in Europe, America, Asia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and now in Svitoglyad.

The students also took part in the mini-soccer tournament “Sport Brings Hearts Together,” where they won first place.

During the year, the children had many interactive classes, quests, brain rings, and an “opportunities fair,” which broadened their horizons and helped them discover their own talents.

Special Reward for Good Deeds

During the year, we wrote letters of encouragement, collected goodies, medicines, vegetables and fruits, tea, coffee, and bread for our hero soldiers. In response to this sincere support, we received a special award from the 68th separate Oleksa Dovbush Jaeger Brigade – the 3rd degree “Warrior Jaeger Cross.” This is not just an award, but evidence that even small deeds done with love have great power.

The Future is Near

Despite all the challenges, we do not stop developing the educational space. Currently, the construction of the second floor is underway. Temperature and motion sensors, as well as an alarm control panel, have already been installed on the third floor. We pray that the second floor will also be fully equipped so that even more children can receive a quality education in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and God’s presence.

We gratefully bow our hearts to God for all His blessings. We thank our courageous warrior heroes who, at the cost of their own courage, protect our peace and the future of our children. We thank the employees, students, and parents who share with us the everyday difficulties and the joy of victories, creating a vibrant community of support. We thank the patrons and benefactors for the help and support that allow us to build the school. We thank the people who keep us in their prayers and support our hands when they get tired. Special gratitude to our good friends and churches — Community of the Good Shepherd and Grace — for their partnership, love, and joint ministry.

Please pray for:

  1. Introductory campaign. This year it will start in February. Pray that God will send students whom He wants to hear the Word in school.
  2. Quality of education. We want “Christian education” to be associated not just with a nice atmosphere, but also with quality knowledge and readiness to obtain prestigious professions.
  3. Completion of the second floor. We feel a lack of finances to equip the science room. Now we can only cover minor needs.
  4. Assistance for the education of children from low-income families. Not all children can study at the lyceum because their parents cannot afford it. Therefore, we are looking for patrons who will be ready to help them.
