By the grace of God, the employees of our Christian ethics department continued to serve children in the spring of 2023.
Ruslana Kovalchuk taught Christian ethics every week in Klevanska special school # 1 and in Rivne Lyceum “Ukrainian.” She started preparation for preschool Christian camp, which is scheduled for June 6-10 at the Lyceum.
Ten students, who are being taught by Ruslana Kovalchuk, participated and became prize-winners of the Olympiad of Christian Ethics, which was conducted by the Charity Fund “Live, Ukraine!” Our employee was also invited to participate in the work of the Fifteen All-Ukrainian Olympiad “Young Bible Scholars,” which took place in an online format at the National University “Ostroh Academy” from April 28 to 30. She was the head of the jury in the fifth and seventh grades.
Arkady Slyoza with a team of volunteers visited a shelter for minors in the village of Olexandria, where they held Bible classes and games, talked and prayed with children. On April 17, the puppet theater from the Source of Life Church in Zdolbuniv joined them with a festive program. At the request of the director of Klevan special school for visually impaired children, Arkady Slyoza took first-graders to Rivne for the presentation of new books in the regional children’s library.
Please continue to pray for the children who study the Bible in classes of Christian ethics and hear the Good News in the camps so that God’s Word will bear fruit in their future life.
