In the city, where our minister and his family lived for almost three years, he was able to see the disciples whom the Lord brought to Himself. Many of them were baptized and hold on to the faith despite trials. One of the disciples experienced a spiritual decline, but did not give up. Despite fear and pressure, he kept the Bible at home – hidden in a secret place. This touched our minister very much.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another zealous disciple, whom our brother baptized, survived the betrayal of his Chinese Christian mentor, imprisonment, and a spiritual crisis. And despite everything, the light in him did not go out.<\/span><\/p>\n

In another city, the brothers organized a meeting where our missionary met a family that translates Christian literature into national language. This was an answer to numerous prayers \u2014 because high-quality translations are very much needed.<\/span><\/p>\n

In general, the meetings with Uyghur leaders left a deep mark on his heart. They are the first generation of believers who went through persecution and loss, but remained faithful to the Lord and now serve the new generation themselves. They asked for special prayers for the Uyghur cities where there are no Christians at all. May the Lord raise up new ministers who will carry the light to where it is so needed.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
