In September of 2020, by the grace of God, educational institutions in Ukraine resumed their work. Throughout the fall, our employee Ruslana Kovalchuk conducted Christian Ethics lessons at Klevan special school № 1 for visually impaired children and Rivne Ukrainian Gymnasium. Ruslana also had individual meetings with teachers to provide methodological assistance with Christian Ethics lessons.
In the autumn, the long-awaited award event for the participants of spring quests for school children (Easter and the Feast of the Ascension) was held at the Klevan Special School № 1. It had been rescheduled due to the quarantine.
At the end of October, the Lord gave Ruslana an opportunity to attend advanced training course at the Institute of Postgraduate Education for School Teachers in the Rivne region where she learned about interesting, creative information and communication technologies to apply at school during the pandemic.
On the eve of the International Bible Day, by the grace of God, on November 24, an exhibition of paintings by famous artists about the Life of Jesus was held at the Klevan Special School № 1. The exhibition was visited by students from grades 1 to 10, as well as their teachers. Spiritual literature including Bibles for children, coloring books, Word to a Teacher, Faith and Life and Path magazines were distributed. Pray that the Word that fell into the hearts of the listeners will bear abundant fruit!
